Hello!  Welcome!  And thanks for visiting my (first ever) blog!

From pretty much as far back as I can remember, I’ve loved all forms of “Entertainment” as we know it ~ movies, television, music, books ~ with a special place in my heart (and soul) for film.  I even majored in Film Studies in college.  In Kansas, no less…about as far from either American film industry epicenter as I could be, while still in the contiguous 48 states.  But that didn’t sway me. Despite being notoriously INdecisive, I never once questioned my choice to study film, nor did I ever consider anything else. And all these years later, my affection and appreciation for the medium has only grown stronger.

I moved to Los Angeles in 1996 and have never looked back.  I’ve been lucky enough to work in the wonderful (and sometimes wacky) world of Entertainment for much of the time since (primarily in television), amazing experiences I wouldn’t trade (upon which perhaps I will one day expand here).  Of late, I have happily had more time to immerse myself in the various mediums and am relishing every moment of it.

Because I’m so passionate about it all (film in particular) and so enjoy talking about it with others, I decided to start writing about what I’m seeing in theaters, watching at home, listening to and reading.  I look forward to seeing how my blog evolves over time ~ and sincerely hope you enjoy reading it as much as I intend to enjoy writing it!

Oh, and since I’ve only been recording my thoughts and opinions in writing as of 2012, if there is ever a film (or tv show, or musical artist, or book) you’re curious for my opinion on, please don’t hesitate to ask.  If I’ve seen it, heard it or read it, I will be more than happy to share my thoughts!
